
Edward “Ed” L. Sheffield, 65, of Greenfield, passed away on June 4, 2015. He was born on May 26, 1950 in Mishawaka, IN to Ed and Joyce Sheffield. He attended Linton-Stockton High School. Ed joined the Marines, where he proudly served for 9 years before transferring to the Navy, where he finished his service, retiring in 1992. He married Sharon K. Flynn in 1971. Ed enjoyed aviation mechanics.
He is survived by his mom, Joyce; children, Cheerful, Daniel (Kristie), Edward II (Stacie); grandchildren, Eleni, Daniel Jr., McKenna, Kaden, Evan, Ian, Hailie, and Braylon; his aunt, Cheerful McCreery; and many other family members.
A memorial service with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16th at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis. Friends may sign his online guest book at www.indianafuneralcare.com.
